CSKA keeps chance to get in Top-16

Basketball CSKA gained essential victory over Power Electronics Valencia in the Euroleague first group stage Game 8. That victory gives CSKA a miserable chance to get in Top-16.

The Moscow club gained 8 points advance in the opening quarter, but lost its lead in the next two. By the end of the third quarter the score was 49:48 to Valencia. But the final quarter was done by CSKA J.R. Holden and Jamont Gordon with partners who outscored Valencia 25:14.

Jamont Gordon scored 15 points, while John Robert Holden followed him with 14 points and 7 assists for CSKA.

Next game CSKA will play against Union Olimpija on December 15. In the first encounter CSKA outscored Slovenian club 65:55 in Moscow.
