The guest team took a lead in the very beginning of the meeting but relaxed after a big break and allowed Lokomotiv to recover. But eventually BC Khimki won in a bitter struggle - 82:73. Valery Likhodey succeeded with 19 points in Loko, Zoran Planinic added 17 points, 5 assists and 5 rebounds in BC Khimki.

Free throws of Kalnietis and Baron determined the outcome of the meeting. So it was the eighth win for Evgeny Pashutin's team, as for Spartak-Primorye, for them this loss turned to be eighth one.

In a first Eurocup semifinal game PBC Lokomotiv-Kuban Krasnodar on the road faced Valencia Basket and scored a very important victory - 97:87. Simas Jasaitis did his best with 23 points (7 triples) and 8 rebounds, Derrick Brown added 19 points and 6 rebounds, as for Mantas Kalnietis scored 17 points. In Valencia Basket Doellman scored 28 points, Ribas - 20, Dubljevic - 17. The return game will be played in Krasnodar on Tuesday, March 26, 2013.

On Wednesday, March 13, 2013 three Russian clubs played return Eurocup quarterfinal games. Lokomotiv-Kuban crashed KK Buductnost Voli and will meet with Valencia Basket. UNICS Kazan won but didn't enter play-offs due to the total difference on the sum of two games. Spartak SPb was down in Kiev by Budivelnik and had to say goodbye to Eurocup. So it will be only one Russian representative in the Eurocup play-offs - Loko.
