Lokomotiv outscored Khimki
An exciting game between Khimki and Lokomotiv-Kuban was played in Krasnodar on Sunday. Host Lokomotiv defeated guests from Khimki 73:66.
The hosts trailed by 4 points at the halftime. But in the third quarter Loko mad a charge 28:16, which allowed them to win the game.
The best player for the winners was American forward Michael Wilkinson who scored 22 points and 9 rebounds.
Khimki suffered second loss in a row in the PBL Championship. The first one was from CSKA in the last game of the 2010 year. Next game the Moscow region club will play against UNICS who has already made six game winning streak in the PBL after the victory over Enisey.
Lokomotiv gained the third place in the table and leads with the same amount of points as CSKA and UNICS. In the next game Lokomotiv will try to pass the CSKA test in Moscow.
