Prostejov surprised Lokomotiv-Kuban

BK Prostejov surprised Lokomotiv-Kuban at home to tie them at 1-2 records in Group L of Eurochallenge. The home side upset one of the favorites of the tournament 67:66 due to the last period.

In a low scoring first quarter the teams paid too much attention to defense. The hosts struggled to eat into the Lokomotiv-Kuban lead during the second quarter and managed to take the advantage.

Due to 23:11 in the third period Lokomotiv took 52:44 lead after Jeremiah Massey another shot. BK Prostejov however finally got their reward in the last quarter. Trailing 52:60, the team from Czech Republic cut it to 61:62 and then grabbed the lead. tied the game at 66:66 with 30 seconds to go, while Eugene Lawrence made the final basket for the hosts.
