On Wednesday, December 19, 2012 within the bounds of PBL championship BC Spartak-Primorye hosted BC Spartak St Petersburg and lost with the score 60:77. From the beginning of the meeting the Jure Zdovc's team took the lead and didn't allow the opponent to make a comeback. Even in the third quarter when the gap between the teams was only 3 points. So the overall success was at the side of BC Spartak St Petersburg. Patrick Beverley scored 14 points, Vladimir Dragicevic - 12, in Spartak-Primorye Troy Gillenwater added 19 points and 7 rebounds, Artem Zabelin - 14 points.

On Monday, November 26, 2012 BC Khimki Moscow Region at its home court hosted BC Spartak-Primorye and scored a very confident victory. First half was equal, after the BC Khimki run 7-0 Primorye recovered and made a return spurt. Nevertheless after a big break Kurtinaitis's squad took a lead and didn't relax till the end of the game. As a result - a deserved win. Fridzon scored 17 points, Rivers - 16 and 6 rebounds. In BC Spartak-Primorye Efevberha added 21 points.

On Monday 16th of April during the BEKO PBL Board meeting the representatives of the clubs have approved the concept of the United tournament of BEKO PBL and VTB League, which recently received full support from the Euroleague.  Also the scheme and dates for the current season play-offs were approved.

Zoran Planinic shined in Khimki's tough road victory over Spartak Primorie. The Croat had 20 points, 9 asissts and 8 rebounds. BEKO PBL board meeting took place in Moscow today, it was attended by managers of all 10 clubs and President of Russian Basketball Federation Aleksander Krasnenkov. The future of possible unification between BEKO PBL and VTB United League has been discussed. General director of VTB United League Andrey Shirokov had been invited, but he refused to attend the meeting having notified the Board with an official letter.
