Bazarevich's team managed to make a huge run 17:0 in the last quarter but Weems's triple and Kulagin's turnover buried the hopes of the home squad. As a result CSKA became Russian Champion, this title became the 20th for the Messina's team.

It became the 6th loss for Vetra's squad. As for Krasnye Krylya it was the 5th win.

As a result - confident victory and first place in Group K. Andre Smith and Aaron Miles made bouble-doubles: Smith scored 28 points and 12 rebounds, Miles - 13 points and 13 assists. Miklail Kulagin added 14 points and Chester Simmons - 18.

The game was equal but eventually the experience of Messina's team became the crucial factor in the battle. Nenad Krstic scored 20 points, Victor Khryapa - 12 points and Teodosic - 12 points in CSKA, Chester Simmons added 19 points in BC Krasnye Krylia.

BC Triumph and BC Spartak St Petersburg scored confident victories within the bounds of Eurocup, BC Krasnye Krylia - in EuroChallenge. As for UNICS Kazan and PBC Lokomotiv-Kuban, they suddenly were defeated at home by the teams from Poland and Ukraine accordingly.

But it was enough for a victory of Sergey Bazarevich's squad. Now BC Krasnye Krylia with three wins ranks first in the EuroChallenge group B.

Its was the first defeat for Jure Zdovc's team and seventh in a row victory for Sergey Bazarevich's squad. Chester Simmons added 22 points and 7 rebounds, Jeremiah Massey - 14 points and 6 rebounds.

On November 14, 2012 five Russian clubs participated in European Cups' games: Lokomotiv-Kuban, UNICS Kazan, Spartak St Petersburg and Triumph Lyubertsy - in Eurocup, BC Krasnye Krylia Samara - in EuroChallenge. All of them made great strides toward next steps of the tournaments: Loko beat Trefl Sopot, UNICS was better than Telenet Oostende, Spartak defeated Cholet Basket, Triumph succeeded in the overtime vs Artland Dragons and Krasnye Krylia won over CSU Asesoft Ploiesti.

Triumph came out with a hard-fought overtime victory over Krasnye Krylya on Wednesday 96-91. The Moscow Region side were in full control entering the final quarter with a 16-point lead. But they couldn't score in the opening 5 minutes of this period and Krylya took full advantage. The game went into in overtime, where the hosts managed to maintain composure and grab this vital victory. They have increased their chances to make it into Top 4 of the BEKO PBL championship.
