On December 23, 2012 BC Spartak St Petersburg within the bounds of PBL championship at home faced BC Nizhniy Novgorod. Games between this opponents are always close and interesting. Now everything was decided in the very end of the match: Joshua Carter's triple practically with the buzzer led the home team to a victory. Mavrokefalides scored 11 points, Beverley and Carter - 10 points each in BC Spartak, in Nizhniy Novgorod Brezec added 20 points, Thompson - 15 points and Antonov - 12 points.

In a VTB United League match (the result of the game takes into account of PBL championship) PBC CSKA hosted BC Nizhniy Novgorod and scored a confident victory. Fist quarter was won by the home team with the margin of 18 points. The guests tried to recover but were unlucky. Sonny Weems added 13 points in CSKA, Semen Antonov - 19 points in BC Nizhniy Novgorod.

In a VTB United League match (the result of the game takes into account of PBL championship) BC Enisey Krasnoyarsk hosted BC Nizhniy Novgorod and in a desperate fight suffered a painful defeat with the minimal margin. Primoz Brezec added 17 points and 9 rebounds, Semen Antonov replenished 12 points and 5 rebounds. Petr Gubanov in the home team scored 21 points and rebounded 8 boards. Zabian Dowdell gained 15 points.

At its home court BC Triumph Lyubertsy hosted BC Nizhniy Novgorod within the bounds of VTB United League (the result of the game takes into account of PBL championship) and scored a confident victory - 71:59.

In a persistent ending of two teams of the championship of BEKO PBL different in level among teams of PBL clubs of 2012-2013 BC Nizhniy Novgorod, despite Semen Antonov's 22 points and Evgeny Baburin's 20 points, couldn't open the account of victories in a series with BC Khimki Moscow Region.

Lokomotiv-Kuban Krasnodar beat away Nizhny Novgorod 61:54 in the regular season of VTB United League, the result of which also goes to the credit of the regular Russian Championship BEKO PBL. It was the first victory Evgeniy Pashutin`s team after two losses in BEKO PBL.

Krasnye Krylya Samara outscored Nizhniy Novgorod 66:61 in the regular Russian Championship BEKO PBL. This game was the first home game for Krylya and the first victory for Samara team. 

On Saturday, September 1, BC Khimki genereal director Viktor Bychkov has been voted the Head of the Board of the Professioanl Basketball League, succeeding Andrey Vatutin at this position.

On Monday, July 16th the BEKO PBL Board meeting took place. It has discussed the scheme of the upcoming season, appointed general director in charge and approved the agreement with the VTB United League.

BC Triumph’s key player Davon Jefferson has been named the MVP of the BEKO PBL regular season 2011/2012. Also the first and second all-PBL teams have been named.

On Tuesday April 24th the BEKO PBL regular season has finished up. After the games in Krasnoyarsk, Kazan and Moscow the semi-finalists of both 1-4 and 5-8 play-offs became clear.

Triumph Lubertsy outscored Nizhniy Novgorod by 83:70 away from home in the BEKO PBL Russian Championship. Nizhniy Novgorod finished the season 2011/2012, but the final Zoran Lukic`s team place in standings will be known after the game in Krasnoyarsk Enisey – Spartak.

On Monday 16th of April during the BEKO PBL Board meeting the representatives of the clubs have approved the concept of the United tournament of BEKO PBL and VTB League, which recently received full support from the Euroleague.  Also the scheme and dates for the current season play-offs were approved. 

Nizhniy Novgorod outscored Enisey Krasnoyarsk by 99:97 in the BEKO PBL Russian Championship. Both teams stay out of the play-offs but keep fighting for the ninth place in the standings.

Spartak-Primorye Vladivostok outscored Nizhniy Novgorod by 91:80 in the BEKO PBL Russian Championship. Boris Livanov`s team keeps fighting for 1th-4th places play-offs.

After winning in quarterfinal of Euroleague CSKA Moscow defeated Nizhny Novgorod by 97:53. The Army Men reached in 1th-4th places play-off insured at least second place second place in the standings in the regular BEKO PBL Russian Championship. But this didn't happen for Nizhniy Novgorod which lost all the chances for play-offs.

Spartak Saint Petersburg outscored Nizhny Novgorod by 82:79 in the BEKO PBL Russian Championship. After this win Jurij Zdovc still has a chance to get into the play-offs.

On Wednesday March the 14 during BEKO PBL Board meeting Andrey Vatutin was voted to represent the League in the group whcih will control creature of the United tournament. This group will consist of delegates from the Ministry for sport, Russian Basketball Federation and VTB League.

Khimki Moscow Region coached by Rimas Kurtinaitis outscored Nizhniy Novgorod coached by Zoran Lukic 79:74 away in the city of Bor, Nizhny Novgorod region in the BEKO PBL Russian Championship.

Strugging Nizhniy Novgorod has produced a major upset in the BEKO PBL championship with a 82-77 win over UNICS. The Kazan side seemed to be in control after first two quarters holding a 9-pont lead, but backed by their fans NN regrouped and won the following quarter by 11, and then was victorious in the nervous end. UNICS has now suffered 5 straight losses in all competitions.

Krasny Krylya remained within a chance to make it to the semis of the BEKO PBL championships with  a 79-73 win over Nizhniy Novgorod. Krylya were in control throughout the match and got their 7th win comprehensively.

Lokomotiv-Kuban got a revenge win over Nizhniy Novgorod. Loko lost the teams' meeting in the first round of the BEKO PBL championship, but didn't leave any chance to the opponents this time around despite a small eventual margin. Lokomotiv now moved to the second spot in the standings.

The Kazan side faced few problems against bottom Nizhny Novgorod taking a convincing win 84-66. The game was evenly matched in the first half but after the big break UNICS put the result beyond any doubt.

BEKO PBL board meeting took place in Moscow today, it was attended by managers of all 10 clubs and President of Russian Basketball Federation Aleksander Krasnenkov. The future of possible unification between BEKO PBL and VTB United League has been discussed. General director of VTB United League Andrey Shirokov had been invited, but he refused to attend the meeting having notified the Board with an official letter.
