In the Turkish Airlines Euroleague Top 16 game BC Khimki on the road faced Montepaschi Siena (Italy) and suffered defeat with the score 76:82. Rivers added 13 points and 5 rebounds, Loncar - 12 points and 4 rebounds, Monya and Davis - in 11 points each, Planinic - 10 points and 7 assists and became the best Top 16 assistant (7.33 assists per game). It was the first Top 16 defeat for BC Khimki. Now it ranks fourth in group F.

Despite the loss of the leader Juan Carlos Navarro the Rimas Kurtinaitis's squad showed character and due to perfect defense scored second in a row victory - 78:65. Zoran Planinic added 16 points and 6 assists, Fridzon - 13 points, Davis and Zhukanenko - 10 points each.

Within the bounds of Turkish Airlines Euroleague Top-16 BC Khimki and CSKA Moscow played their first games. The yellow-blue team in Istanbul faced Besiktas JK and scored victory. Vitaly Fridzon added 20 points, Paul Davis - 17, Zoran Planinic - 13 and 9 assists. As for CSKA Moscow, the Messina's squad at home crashed Anadolu Efes Istanbul. Krstic and Weems added 22 points each.

In a fantastic and emotional game BC Khimki hosted PBC Lokomotiv-Kuban and won in the overtime - 104:100. Loko played better in the beginning of the match and took the lead 28:19 but then Khimkians recovered and gave fight to the opponent. Eventually everything was determined in the overtime - due to perfect free throws of ex-Loko player K.C. Rivers the home team succeeded. Vitaly Fridzon scored 22 points in BC Khimki, Nick Calathes added 33 points in Lokomotiv-Kuban.

On Thursday, December 20, 2012 BC Khimki Moscow Region within the bounds of PBL championship hosted CSKA Moscow - it was the central game of the month. The equal game was until the last quarter but in the very end BC Khimki due to the Planinic's efford made a huge spurt 6-0 and eventually succeeded. Two unbelievable triples of Teodosic at last second didn't change the situation - Fridzon scored all 6 free throws. So the Moscow team suffered first defeat in PBL, as for BC Khimki it continued the unbeaten home series of 14 victories. Monya, Khryapa and Krstic made double-doubles.

On December 8, 2012 within the bounds of Turkish Airlines Euroleague BC Khimki Moscow Region played road game in Slovenia with the local team Union Olimpija Ljubljana. The crucail moment became in the very end of the meeting when Slovenian guard Klemen Prepelic scored the three-point buzzer and swat away the Russian team. Despite this defeat BC Khimki has already gauranteed itself the entrance to the Top-16. Paul Davis added 20 points and 4 rebounds, Vitaly Fridzon - 12 points and Egov Vyaltsev - 11.

On November 29, 2012 two Russian clubs played games in the Turkish Airlines Euroleague week 8 and succeeded. BC Khimki Moscow Region at home crushed Mapooro Cantu (Itlay) and due to the victory of Panathinaikos (Greece) over Olimpija Ljubljana (Slovenia) guaranteed the entrance to the Top-16. CSKA Moscow on the road faced Brose Baskets Bamberg (Germany) and also won. The Amry team qualified to the Top-16 couple of weeks ago.

On Monday, November 26, 2012 BC Khimki Moscow Region at its home court hosted BC Spartak-Primorye and scored a very confident victory. First half was equal, after the BC Khimki run 7-0 Primorye recovered and made a return spurt. Nevertheless after a big break Kurtinaitis's squad took a lead and didn't relax till the end of the game. As a result - a deserved win. Fridzon scored 17 points, Rivers - 16 and 6 rebounds. In BC Spartak-Primorye Efevberha added 21 points.

On November 23, 2012 BC Khimki Moscow Region faced on the road one of the best European teams of Real Madrid in the Turkish Airlines Euroleague and suffered a defeat with the score 81:104. The biggest impact to the Real's success added Rudy Fernandez (23 points) and Nikola Mirotic (17 points). In BC Khimki Monya scored 19 points, Fridzon - 17, Planinic - 15 and 6 assists.

In the Turkish Airlines Euroleague game 6 BC Khimki hosted Fenerbahce Ulker Istanbul and won in the very ending in the clutch due to Rivers incredible buzzer. He added overall 14 points to the team success, Fridzon - 12 points and Planinic - 11 points. Now BC Khimki Moscow Region has 4-2 record in the tournament and will face Real Madrid on November 23, 2012 in Madrid. As for CSKA Moscow it played on the road with Lietuvos Rytas Lithuania and celebrated victory. Sonny Weems stayed with 19 points, Teodosic added 13 and Kaun - 11. CSKA also ranks second in group D with the 5-1 record.

BC Khimki at its home court faced UNICS within the bounds of VTB United League (the result of the game takes into account of PBL championship) and very confidently won over the Kazan team with the score of 85:74. Zoran Planinic added 18 points, Vitaly Fridzon - 14 and James Augustine - 13 points and 6 rebounds. Kostas Kaimakoglou stayed with 20 points and became the best scorer of the overall match.

The game was very close until the very last minute when Kyle Landry received a technical foul for a flop, and Khimki scored decisive 5 points in the last possession

BEKO PBL board meeting took place in Moscow today, it was attended by managers of all 10 clubs and President of Russian Basketball Federation Aleksander Krasnenkov. The future of possible unification between BEKO PBL and VTB United League has been discussed. General director of VTB United League Andrey Shirokov had been invited, but he refused to attend the meeting having notified the Board with an official letter.
